The original Historical Player counts as Phase One or Two?

I just need to know which dumpster to toss Chuck into like the refuse that he is.

It doesn't matter (and I can't remember) - your exposed Legend player can be either the first one - i.e. G Charles Darwin (crocked) - or one of the ones from that later round that was a whole Legend line, like PHASE THREE! I think it was.

FYI they are throwing a fish funeral on Chrisley right now.

Oh god, I'm so sorry. I forgot phase 2 existed where we did no hockey positions.

Let me try this again. I know I have to expose someone from this phase. The way I read this is that it doesn't matter where Darwin (crocked) was selected because the exposed players just have to be 2 current (including 1 from Phase 1) and 1 historic?

Please tell Chrisley he's a plague on the entire history of man for me. He'll hear you if you say it and mean it.

We can only lose one current player and one legend player, so two total. We cannot lose three players. We cannot lose two current players. Worst case is one current and one legend.

EDIT: Then after that those two jokers fill out the rest of their lineups with available players so they are caught up to us.
I guess I have a follow up...

Do they have to take players from other teams to fill their roster, or can they pass on a certain position of they think there is a better option available? This is more for the historic players, given there are literal thousands of options.

Edit: just as an example, when choosing the legends goalie, can they just draft any legend goalie, or do they have to choose one from someone else? Seems limiting.

It doesn't matter for the Legends, because we only did one round where we drafted a full line of them, plus the original Legend we picked in the beginning.

It matters for the Current plauers. We have to expose one current player from the first round, and one player from this round we are doing now.

Charles Darwin once wrote in a diary or a letter or something that he played hockey and now you have to consider the merits of him as a decrepit old man. Chaos indeed.

But on the whole, you might get some better players out of it. It's advantageous for you this way.

So team's must exposed 1 current player from phase 1, 1 legend player from phase 2 (or phase 1), and 1 current player from phase 3. But teams cannot lose more than 1 current and 1 legend player. Does that sum it up fairly?

They don't have to pick players from our squads. Here's how it will go.

  • We'll present our protected lists.
  • I'll do a random drawing to see who goes first, like usual.
  • On their turn, each of them can take whoever they want - one of our unprotected players, or someone who hasn't been chosen yet.
  • Once they choose, e.g. a Current player from my team, the rest of my current players are re-protected, i.e. unavailable to them.
  • Once they choose, e.g. a Legend player from your team ... nothing changes, since we are each only exposing one Legend.

Maximum HC influence. Just saying. We're all better for it.

Not even, "Please make a hockey team out of all of your edible selections," would surprise me at this point.

Cacio e Pepe would definitely be in Goal for the record. A giant mound of that would just envelop pucks.
