While I don't think this going to be a selection that I necessarily regret but it has been a tough one since I won't be picking again until roughly 2025 so any of the other options that I had in my head aren't going to be there.

With that said, we have decided to come into the 21st Century with our next selection. We're going to pick a guy that similar to our first Clone pick needs to be told not to fight because we need them to not have a broken hand from throwing a punch. He is one of the most electric players i've had the joy to watch on a regular basis and it feels good to add him into the fray.

Now with all of that said, we're ready to make our pick. A pick that we probably couldn't have telegraphed more if we tried. Somehow @Striiker wasn't able to figure it out and for that i'm thankful.

This man is player that i've been trying to cheat my way into acquiring but my duty and honor to the Quackverse would not allow it so instead my brother decided to throw @Strawberry Fields a bone because he signed up for hockey reasons and well... it's been a long while since hockey reasons. Once I saw the draft order I had my doubts that he would fall to me but it was good to see that a large number of our franchises continue to hold one of the main tenets of the Quackverse to be true which is that hockey is stupid. Maybe he wouldn't have even went if hockey wasn't stupid but we're proud and very happy to add him to the franchise.

We're talking of course about my favorite player of all time, Peter Forsberg. This man helped me fall in love with the game of hockey. This man is also probably to blame for turning me into a diehard Flyers fan so for that he may lose some points and I may resent him just a little bit but... that's neither here nor there.

We also like that dynamic that Clone Peter Forsberg may be the only Peter Forsberg to actually exist in the Quackverse sans a guy sitting around in Hay-On-Wye waiting for his dear leader @Chinatown88 to return.

Ohhhh ok, so I actually was right. :laugh: This is what I had initially thought you didn’t want sniped, thanks to your profile picture and the fact that people were going through top older players again, but then I second guessed myself and thought that couldn’t be it because why the hell would I be the one you were worried about sniping it?
