I'm ready for Phase 19. My time here at la plage is winding down and I'll be back in the states soon enough. The tattoo scourge continues, but what has fascinated me is what tattoos are in this year vs. last year, particularly for the ladies. Last year was all dream catchers and floral motifs. Those are still plentiful, but this year owls are inexplicably big. Not sure what that's about. Also, ribbons tied in bows on the back of the upper thighs. Is that supposed to suggest lingerie? I don't know, it looks so randomly stupid though.

He had lung cancer and seemingly beat it but I guess over the last few weeks unbeknownst to the rest of us he had been having issues. He had trouble signing his name, couldn't brush his teeth, and then the other day while playing video games his right arm started spazzing uncontrollably which led to him being taken to the hospital.

They ran some tests and found a cancerous tumor on his brain that how they've explained is kind of a best case scenario of where it is for operation sake and minimal effects afterwords but anytime someone goes in for surgery it's scary let alone when it comes to the brain.
