We decided to keep his name. We wouldn't have named him Willie, but he's almost a year old already and it's not like it’s so bad that it has to be fixed. The one time we did was the poor dog named "Nibbler" that we rescued. It wasn't her fault she had an underbite from being raised in a puppy mill.

Speaking of which, Willie has made the road trip from Washington St all the way to NJ and is now happily sleeping it off at his new home. He's got some special needs, but they're extremely manageable.

He's ~60% of the height of our other Toller.

Ok, I’ve gotten something resembling human sleep. It’s time to get caught up.

Thetis was a sea nymph. Peleus was just a mortal. But their wedding was being held on Olympus. Just because Eris was excellent at her job, she was sadly not invited to the celebration. Anyway, Eris crashed the wedding. I don’t know what they expected the Goddess of Strife and Discord to do besides that, but apparently it was a surprise. So they denied her entry and she yeeted an Apple into a pack of Goddesses inscribed with something akin to “To The Fairest.” Naturally the Greek Mean Girls all thought this meant them and yada yada yada a social faux pas and The Apple of Discord started the Trojan War.

I finally watched "Black Widow," "Shang Chi," and "Eternals" over the weekend - trying to get caught up on Marvel, innit - and they got progressively worse. It got to the point that I wished they had just made an internet post explaining what happened in the "Eternals" story instead of the whole movie, and even that might have been too much. It's pretty f***ing stupid.
