Vegetables are f***ing stupid, so I thought I would have to bring something with me that I didn't even want, but then it came to me. There is one that I actually like without reservations. Especially since you can eat it with peanut butter, though it's not really worth the effort.

@Asnito

OMG I thought I posted that three hours ago - it was just sitting there all that time without me hitting "Post Reply" Sorry.

I think you're subconsciously (or maybe even consciously, no shaming) enamored with MacGruber's celery trick and you just want the ability to pull it off at a moment's notice.

Stupid Australia is in no man's land when it comes to time zones. It sucks for those of us trying to watch this tournament.

We start the day with @Rebels57 on the clock, of course, @Lord Defect on deck, @Beef Invictus on the lido deck, and MacGruber (not the original) on the lido afterdeck. Asnito has to make up his pick also.

There is this movie on Netflix called "KIll Boksoon." It's about a single mom who is a legendary assassin but has to raise her teenaged daughter at the same time. I watched that movie last night, and it kicks ass. I'm not usually interested in mom stories, generally speaking, but that part was interesting, and the fight scenes were pretty cool. And there were a lot of them. And a lot of blood. I'd recommend you watch it - even if you don't want to watch it, you don't want to be left behind all of us who have, do you?

I want to touch his little face so badly

I get to name him, right?

We decided to keep his name. We wouldn't have named him Willie, but he's almost a year old already and it's not like it’s so bad that it has to be fixed. The one time we did was the poor dog named "Nibbler" that we rescued. It wasn't her fault she had an underbite from being raised in a puppy mill.

Speaking of which, Willie has made the road trip from Washington St all the way to NJ and is now happily sleeping it off at his new home. He's got some special needs, but they're extremely manageable.

He's ~60% of the height of our other Toller.

Absolutely adorable. And yeah, that’s an acceptable name. Not what I was going to pick… but sure… fine… whatever…

Mine was an rescue too but she was only 3 months old at the time, so it was no problem to change her name. Thankfully, since there was no way in hell I was calling her “Helen”.

Who the f*** gives up a 3 month old puppy? What sort of horrible decisions were made there.

Helen sounds like she was named after having a smoker’s cough as a puppy.

Ew, you live in jersey?

We're elsewhere right now, but we live in OCNJ. It's kind of a different world down there, especially in the non-tourist seasons. Free run of the beach with the dogs every day, etc.

I’ll be in ocean city soon. What’s your address? I’ll drop off my litter of spawn.

Wait time out. What’s the cutoff for buying or adopting a puppy? 9 weeks or three months? I’m drawing a blank.

100 Bay Road
I’ll let you know well after we drop them off so we have time to flee
