I go to Yum Yum's in Warminster every couple months. Sometimes more in the fall for their apple/pumpkin glazed donuts. They're so f***ing good, and they make them in store. My favorite local place.
I haven't been in three years due to Covid/border closures, so this stop was long overdue.

The Warminster one is my spot. I grew up in that neighbourhood. They also used to have a location at County Line and York that was 24 hours. My friends and I wasted a whole lot of time there in the late teens eating donuts and drinking coffee. When that one closed so they could build another stupid ass drugstore, the one on Street Road became the only option. I had moved away by then (as had most of the friends), so it's perfect location to pick up half a dozen on my way out of town when visiting the parents.

(Top L-R: Peanut Butter, Apple, Apple Spice. Bottom L-R Boston Cream, Salted Caramel, Cream Delight.)

Bonus shot: Monster Donut I bring back each time for a friend of mine. This fills the same box those 6 do. If that isn't big enough for you, there is also the Big Kahuna donut.

Anyone in lower Bucks should do themselves a favor and get a half dozen, if they're around the area. Just an orgasmic old fashioned coffee + donut shop. I will get some for the holidays.

I'm still not over @GKJ sniping me twice so I'm going to keep making chalk picks without any write-ups. Fun fact: I'm the world's worst golfer due to the worst slice in golf history. May as well test that theory out with the course that started it all.

Team Golf Course: The Old Course at St. Andrews

Wait, @pit already went so I have to tag @Lord Defect? Yuck.

Dumb Defect! Stupid Defect! Nonsensical Defect!
This was going to be my second golf course

I live very close to Yum Yum but haven’t been there in a while.

This has been a particularly catastrophic phase for the F'ing Zeppelins. We've been sniped 3 times and, unusual for us given our habit of doing our due diligence, have twice picked something that was already off the board. We can only blame our proximity to His Defectiveness for this. Apparently there's something to our theory that he's contagious. God help us all.

So, Golf Course, eh? Last time when I picked something already spoken for - David Lo Pan - I took the easy route out with my re-selection and took Egg Shen from the same film. I could do that here, I could simply take the [Ranch] Course at St. [Liverwurst]. But no, I'm going to go in another direction entirely.

Team Golf Course: Wolf Creek

It's doubtful I'll ever play here but it's stunning. Built in the middle of a desert, apparently you have to sign a waiver to ride in a cart because of the treacherously steep paths.

Please proceed @Lord Defect

My number 2 might be Mr. Bad Example.

"Of course I went to law school, and took the law degree. And counseled all my clients to plead insanity. Then worked in hair replacement, swindling the bald; where very few are chosen, and fewer still are called." Similarly, 3-100 is a 98 way tie.
I am woefully undereducated on Warren Zevon

Most excellent choice, starry Biff. Tangy Biff. Unctuous Biff. You and I have similar music tastes. Fun fact: this music video was directed by the same duo who did Little Miss Sunshine. I assume you know there's a sequel video for another song. I also know what my 2nd favorite Pumpkins video is.

Aiyah. I made the mistake of looking at Twitter before I started this and saw that "Died Suddendly" - spelled that way - was trending. I was like "The f***?" So I tracked it to its dipshit origin. It's another American political thing, and now I have lost the will to live.

In addition, that gap-toothed c*** is getting wall-to-wall slurping this morning for scoring more shitty goals in his shitty career with his shitty mouth and his shitty face and his shitty f***ing blouse. Dude, f*** off, who cares. Eat one. Assmunching bag of shit. Oh, and your sport is stupid, too. I hate you.

Where the f*** were we ... right. F***'s sake. @Lord Defect is on the clock. Congratulations, #DarkestTimeline. @Young Sandwich is on deck, Jojo is on the lido deck, and Bernardo is on the lido afterdeck. I think @DancingPanther still has to make up two picks, but I could be wrong. This whole day is wrong.

Speaking of which, check this out. I don't think we are going to do a Team Spite Music Video, but now that I have mentioned it, we probably will. If we do, the following will be off-limits. Know why? Because I am gifting it to all of us. This is the Team Spite Music Video for the entire Quackverse. You're welcome.

Team kids book: Go Dog Go. I read that shit every single night when I was little. I like that party hat.

Team golf course: that mini golf course in Wildwood on the boardwalk with the animals. I got my first hole in one. It isn't there anymore

Oh wow, I'm actually up now? Feels like I've been on deck for days.

Anyway, here's another hastily made legitimate pick with some excellent levels of lore baked right in to satiate the countless #lorewhores who need their daily fix. Snort it up buds, there's plenty more where that came from.

Huh? You mean this shit is still going on? This thing has gone on longer than Mickey Mantle’s bar tab. You know, speaking of bar tabs, this one time in Philly, me, Dykstra and McCarver picked up 3 Vietnamese strippers and a bag of crack on our way to Atlantic City. So McCarver, fires up the pipe while pouring shots in the one broad’s ass crack and

BiggE here again, sorry about that. I need to start locking up the prescription meds.

The M.A.D. Cats welcome all.

Let me tell you, it’s hard to find high quality photos of carnivals from that era that show much detail. So I pulled up some cast pictures from Tod Browning’s Freaks.

It’s a damned shame that carnival geeks are morally frowned upon today. A damned shame. All the people who would’ve made terrific geeks now create hashtags and argue with strangers on Twitter.

My make up pick will be made tomorrow. Today was the anniversary of my dad’s passing so it’s been a rough week for me between that and his birthday last week.

I know that I’ve been posting mindlessly in other places but haven’t been able to put thought into making a pick.

I offer once more to beat up mortality. I assert my authority as rightfully elected president of the board to proclaim you can take maximum time.

Also don't watch the Flyers. That cannot help.
