Looks like that might be it. Although IIRC, the Barrie/Kadri trade happened an hour after their post frenzy presser.
I'm just interested what (if anything) we hear on Mikko and Nuke. Probably not anything interesting.Looks like that might be it. Although IIRC, the Barrie/Kadri trade happened an hour after their post frenzy presser.

You tell Jared Bednar that Artturi Lehkonen is a cap casualty.I think a number of players are on the table.
I wouldn’t rule out Lehkonen/Nichushkin in deals where a NHL ready prospect is coming back. Colton/Wood more likely.
My hope is that it’s not a straight cash out situation with only picks coming back. I’d like cheap depth coming our way, or good NHL ready prospects.
The Avs aren’t that team anymore. They’re contenders. They won a cup 3 seasons ago. People consider them competitive. But the sweetheart deals will go through better teams before they go through the Avs.I don't understand the Edmonton part. Are the Avs a perennial dweller? They're the ones with a Stanley Cup. We know how rare it is for teams to get back there after having been there the previous season.
It’s prorated because he’ll miss close to 20% of the season’s days while on suspension.
But no, even with that, we’re over the cap with a healthy team.
Like someone else here said, they still made the Kadri trade well after their presser few years agoSkinner announcement within 10 minutes of the MacFarland announcement. Sounds like the Avs lost and signed Kelly/Rosen
