How does a Ufa become arbitration eligible?
How does a Ufa become arbitration eligible?
I guess if some team trades for their rights now?How does a Ufa become arbitration eligible?
They were arbitration eligable RFAs. Dallas declined to give them a qualifying offer. Now they become UFAs.How does a Ufa become arbitration eligible?
The point was the poor wording by Seravalli here. "They will become UFAs. Both are arbitration eligible". Such a thing doesn't exist. They were arbitration eligable RFAs. Dallas declined to give them a qualifying offer. Now they become UFAs.
He mis-typed are when it should have been were. The point was the poor wording by Seravalli here. "They will become UFAs. Both are arbitration eligible". Such a thing doesn't exist.
Preds might ask for Richie and maybe a 1st rounder.Just get the Colton for Askarov deal done already
To no one's surprise
If I'm honest, if the deal is Colton + Ritchie + 1st for Askarov....Preds might ask for Richie and maybe a 1st rounder.
It needs to be us
Would be an interesting option for the Avs bottom pair.
6'5"

You do this 10 times out of 10If I'm honest, if the deal is Colton + Ritchie + 1st for Askarov....
Top 3 protected 1st... Add a little intrigue to itIf I'm honest, if the deal is Colton + Ritchie + 1st for Askarov....
I might still do it. Maybe ask for Pärssinen from the Preds.
He's a big RD, legit NHLer, can PK and makes league minimum6'5"
I can tell you what else just became 6'5"!
Very affordable cap hit also.

Yea but teams barely trade start hockey players in their prime unless the star player does not want to resign with the club.Yup, I agree.
I don't know if anyone else caught it but yesterday during day 2 of the draft they interviewed CMac on sportsnet after the Nabokov pick and asked him a bunch of questions. At one point, they asked about free agency and the fact that they can re-sign Rantanen on July 1st and his response was kind of interesting.
He seemed to be taken aback a little bit by the question and then kind of regurgitated a bit of a made-up answer.. Something like "well, we're definitely going to check-in with his agent here in the next couple of days..."
Just thought it was weird because in my mind, that part would have been done a long time ago.
I'm still holding out hope that he makes the right call and moves him out to get a big-time haul back as well as lots of cap-space or a player like B.Tkachuk.
We need some capspace still, if we want to re-sign Drouin. Ritchie is our best prospect sure, but that's not saying much is it. A 1st should be a late first, when the mentality is to win a cup. So not that much lost in Colton, Ritchie and 1st if it's for the right piece(s).You do this 10 times out of 10
I could see Colton for Kovacevic and 2025 2nd.Very affordable cap hit also.
Really hope this is the Avs.
How about Colton for Evans+kovacevicI could see Colton for Kovacevic and 2025 2nd.
