Colorado went WAY too high.

Voted Washington, it’s close between them and Vegas IMO.

Winnipeg and Pitt are also up there tho I have some concerns about each (meh 2C and losing Kessel). Nashville’s looks so much better w/ Duchene.

Florida will be up near the top. One of the top offenses last year, and they have some nice offensive prospects like Tippet, Heponiemi, Denisenko, and even Noel. Oh and I forgot Borgstrom. Not bad...

I'm thinking Florida should be getting some love real soon. Great top-6 with youth sprinkled in with the solid depth.

You're really downplaying Kadri IMO also don't believe Soderberg will be a 49 pts guy next year I think he goes 30-40 with the Yotes. He should be able to put more pts since he will now have the #2C spot playing with one of Landeskog or Rantanen I hope and he will probably be in the 2nd PP unit. But hey I agree that the Avs forwards shouldn't be #3 considering they have proven nothing so far compared to teams like Vegas or Washington.
What exactly has Vegas proven again? Avs beat em in goals for and improved their team in comparison to last year.

Well they were in the Stanley Cup final one year ago. They added Stone who is probably one of the best wingers in the game and played only 18 games with them.

Had a very tough time choosing between Vegas, Washington and Winnipeg. Went with Vegas but can’t go wrong with either.

HF boards lost some credibility by voting avs as the 3rd best offence - they are around 7-9th in the league
No, it lost credibility when Chicago wasn't even an OPTION in the last poll. Sure, they don't deserve #3, but to not even have them listed but have 15 other teams listed....

Avs at #3 is brutal, kind of ruins the whole thing.

Is it the shiny new toy factor? Donskoi is a third liner and Burakovksy is a 3/4th liner who was often scratched last year. Even if Kadri gets back to 30-30 numbers, what is the hype based on?

Or are Landy, MacKinnon, and Rantanen gonna improve even more? regression is more likely.

Stone is really the only elite player there though. They’re solidly deep with a lot of “pretty good” guys. No way would I take that lineup over the many teams left on the board with several elite players.
