Carolina’s new GM looks like a complete doofus.
well, he pretty much is

Tulsky has a Ph.D in chemistry and holds 27 U.S. Patents. He worked in the tech industry for a dozen years, managed research teams for nanotechnology, DNA sequencing, and solar energy.

LA Had Igor Chernyshov sitting there and they take Greentree...well Good Luck to Liam hope they don't try to convert him to LWing since he's a Left shot ala A Kaliyev

Greentree navigates his way around opponents with a series of look-offs, give-and-goes, and a sophisticated delay game that allows him to problem-solve his way around numbers off the rush. He’s constantly scanning, registering his options and the obstacles that would keep him from getting them the puck. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide

I say at camp on Monday, he has a great camp and by the end of it, he has 3 skating coaches, 2 off ice coaches, 1 fighting coach and 1 hand-eye training coach, like Kaleb Lawrence has.
Can't believe Kaleb has 7 coaches.

Camp should be cool, with a top 18 year old at it, this year...and hopefully #57 is a stud.
19 yr olds Ziemmer, Slukynsky, Mania and 20 yr olds Lawrence, Booth, Wright and Connors....Hughes' last chance to impress, for that matter. Hope he has grown and put on muscle.

FWIW not sure I really agree with the bad skater. He just has that low-effort stride like Jeff Carter, imo.

He just seemed to have some inconsistent efforts. But most notably, he had the largest margin between himself and the second-highest scorer on his team, compared to any other OHL team. So, he truly did make the most on a bad team.

20 RATED THEHOCKEYWRITERS. Liam Greentree, RW, Windsor Spitfires (OHL)

COMBINE WIEGH IN:
  • Liam Greentree: 6-foot-2.5, 215 pounds.

It’s always tough to thrive on a weak team, but Liam Greentree did everything he could with the Windsor Spitfires, leading the team with 36 goals and 90 points (the next-highest total was 66). Yet he wasn’t able to sustain his effectiveness for the entire season; after scoring 64 points in the first 41 games, he started to slip, putting up 16 points in 13 games in February and then just 10 points in 11 games in March. At the U18s, it was more of the same, as he scored just two goals and four points in seven games. He’s still a strong net-front presence with great awareness,

Kid could be special.

I hope the Kings organization can train this guy up to play more of a physical game and some sort of defense.
