Hard to give a shit about any of this. Remember when everyone was pissed we didn’t take Kaliyev… then we got him anyway with our next pick and then both guys proceeded to play 5 minutes a night on the bottom line/pair before being shipped off to play on the Pakistan national team?

Blake’s still “in charge”. None of this matters.
Remember almost missing out on Roland McKeown , but King's traded for the Lightning's pick to steal him!!!

Well this draft isn't going the way I thought it would, seems teams are just dead set on certain players

1. Stain Solberg 6'2" (LD)
2. EJ Emery - 6'3" (RD)
3. Charlie Elick - 6'3" (RD)
4. Adam Kleber - 6'5" (RD)
5. Jesse Pulkkinen - 6'5" (LD)

If the Kings ended up with any of these 5 with their first two picks, I'd be really happy! The first two listed will probably be gone by pick 26. Maybe Elick at 26 and Pulkkinen at 57? I'd be jazzed! Clearing the crease needs to be a priority.

I wonder if young draftees are fearful of being drafted by us due to the what passes for our player development dept and the virtual inevitability of spending yrs in the ahl

I had a haircut and dinner and thought I had missed our pick. I pull it up and we haven’t picked yet. I don’t remember the drafts taking this long before.

Who we drafting?

Also is anyone else having problems with EliteProspects rn?

It's asking me about cookies or some crap but when I hit agree it doesn't do anything.

LVGK up at 19 and still available:

Eiserman, Solberg, Hage, Greentree, Emery, Beaudoin, Connelly, Chernyshov, Badinka, Letourneau, Surin, Basha, O'Reilly, Ritchie, Stiga.

I'll be bummed if Solberg, Eiserman or Hage is available at 21 and they are all off the board at 26... honestly. 26 and 57 better be good! (obviously, 1 of those 3 will be available at 21. lol)

In a group text someone said "PLD should have announced the Washington pick" and I almost died.

All this having someone else come up to announce picks is taking way too much time.

Vegas takes the chance on Connelly. Hope he matures and makes good choices and has a good career.
