He makes acrobat saves because he’s extremely bad laterally and in his movement. He throws out his long legs and makes some saves you think he won’t. He’s a terrible pick

meanwhile the lightning out here getting duke in the 4th. Just make the no brainer pick

this one frankly is the only one that really bothers me.

If you botch something as badly as you botched the Buch trade, then follow it up with another couple uninspiring picks, opinion will rightfully go off the rails quickly.

When you f*** up like they did with Buch, they have to make up for it with a home run. Othmann was like a sacrifice bunt to advance the runner to second base.

I think we haven't exceeded any expectations in the past week. There's not that, "Wow, this is a really shrewd move with a big payoff."

At best, we're probably about on par. Not bad, not great. It is what is --- neither the end of the word, nor the dawn of a golden era.

I don't think we did bad, I don't think we did spectacular. I think we probably could've done better in some instances, but I do think we have a clear vision.

Have to see how the complete team looks in a month or so but so far there’s cause to be concern for Drury isn’t there?
People keep saying the Buchnevich deal will make sense once Drury gets around to his coresponding moves

but right now Drury seems to be operating as a GM who’s hellbent on making sure Tom Wilson dosen’t bully the team again, regardless of what it costs

This take is dumb because we haven’t added any heavyweight brawlers to the team. We’ve added grinders, which we do actually need.

It has nothing to do with Tom Wilson. It has everything to do with winning in the playoffs and being able to play multiple styles that are required when playing different opponents. People are placing way too much emphasis on one incident.

All true but standing pat was not an option. There were games this team did not compete and it all wasn't due to the inexperience of the youth. I also want to wait until this picture is complete before I give a thumbs up or down.

Buddy if you don’t think Sather and Drury aren’t being partially influenced by those Islanders and Capitals games that led to Dolan blowing things up, I got a bridge to sell ya

I'm borderline what?

He’s exactly right. I’m so tired of seeing you attracting negative attention for yourself here. It’s a distraction. No one is here to see you. I understand you’re probably very young but have some self-awareness. Hope this is helpful.

If Buch was identified as part of the non compete problem, this team really needs to get a better measuring stick.

Do people forget how we played against Islanders and Washington in must win games? Wilson ragdolling Panarin was the exclamation point on the entire thing

We would not have won Playoff Games as we were constructed. Balancing is being brought to the roster. If you want to argue cost, thats fine... but these players were 100% needed

And while you warned us that this could be the case, I absolutely detest the direction this offseason has gone. You want to add Goodrow for a 7th? Fine.

But in my opinion the rebuild is incomplete until it has addressed center with youth the same as it has wing and defense.

I LOATHE this.

Take it easy. He has health issues and a vehicle plowed into his living room. This is a place where he can just chill.

I agree with this. Buch is not someone I'd label as non competitive or lazy.

If he was identified as part of the "ineffective when the chips were down" group, they'd be right. Theres enough blame to go around in that regard, but he was a big part of it.

I am extremely drunk. Dissatisfied. Almost like dead. Seriously. If I had not walked the earth a few laps like the fictional Kwai Chang Caine and seriously challenged all the bullies and bullshitters of this insane world - at whatever the odds - I would be R.I.P. over 50 fights on ice and 500 in “society”. But the detractors never get it that easy. Ever. Good night.
