Realistically and it will never happen in order for the NHL Draft to be more comparable to the NFL Draft these guys need to be coming in at older ages so they can step right in and produce.

ESPN did an awful job yesterday. Not more awful than Lou being able to do nothing though.

Sportsnet was even worse. The NHL screwed this draft up immensely

The Isles should have a very good player to choose from at pick 49. Hopefully, someone like Ciernik, Lardis or Sawcyn will be there.

But where would the kids play? I doubt the CHL wants nearly 21 year olds beating up on 16-18 year olds. That might be fine for college hockey, but there's only so many top programs to go around.

College. Canadian Uni is now mostly ex-CHL and guys that tried to make it in Europe and came back. Wouldn't much rather see the college game improve here.

My guess is we will take a Swede ranked somewhere between 70-85.
