Lol Huby shouldnt even be a finalist. If he wins you may as well rename the trophy Art Ross 2.
Please create a compilation of Huberdeau’s play in the defensive zone this year. Given his minutes this deep in the season it should be a long one.I'll never understand how these house leaguers at The Athletic got it in their heads that they are some kind of gold standard when it comes to NHL analysis. There's more to the game than Excel spreadsheets and flawed algorithms, Dom. Good call on the Leafs last year - your model sure killed it on that one.
Sure but he's also played 13 more games than Barkov, plays wing and isn't a good defensive player. He's not having a better season than any of McDavid, Shesterkin or Matthews. Why shouldn't he? He has 23 more points than anyone on a team that's fighting for 1st in the league.
No wonder no NHL team employs this clown
Which 2 players? I have Shesterkin and Gaudreau as the clear most deserving. This should be a 2 horse race. Huberdeau doesn't even belong in the 2 horse race on his own team let alone the league.
Trophies are voted on before playoffs begin.Shesterkin, Kaprizov, Josi, Ovechkin IMO. JT Miller if the Canucks make the playoffs and move into round 2 led by him.
Even better case. Miller has been a major leader and contributor in a turbulent season.Trophies are voted on before playoffs begin.
Miller is good, but I don't think he's Hart-caliber this year.Even better case. Miller has been a major leader and contributor in a turbulent season.
You understand how probabilities work, right? The guy was obnoxious as all hell about the Leafs chances in last years playoffs. After they went out in Round 1 he was silent.
I'm not a huge Dom fan but didn't almost everyone in the world picked Toronto that series? This isn't something specific to himI'll never understand how these house leaguers at The Athletic got it in their heads that they are some kind of gold standard when it comes to NHL analysis.
