All three of them on the Leafs make the Leafs easy favorites, and hey now! I'm not saying my statement is coming from love, but you have to show some respect to these world class defenders in my opinion!

As long as Hughes was ranked anywhere in the top 3 after the season he had then I’m good, didn’t care what spot.

Agree with your point about the Leafs, but that doesn't take away from what I said above.

I've been a huge Forsling fan for years but he's not on Fox's level.
Hamilton and Werenski don't belong on this list. There's way too much emphasis on point totals for these lists.
I'd take Lindell, Faber, McDonagh, Sanderson, Lindholm, Larsson and Brodin over them both.

Just cause? No opinions as to why, just…cause? Any of the 3 on the Leafs and you, along with every other Leaf fan, would more than agree with their spots…or, more realistically, be demanding they were higher.

I'm aware. Expected goals model overly rewards volume shooters, and Hamilton has been babysat by great shutdown dmen for almost his entire career.
More importantly, he's a complete liability come playoff time.

That's definitely a list. And not a good one.
Fox seems a couple spots low for sure.
Nice to see Toews getting proper recognition but I'd still argue he should be a couple of spots higher at least. I dont think people fully realize how consistently elite he's been for like 3 years now.
