Laine broke Seider's stick with his shot for a goal tonight. Lookin' like Pez out there in men's league amirite? :naughty:

Also what’s up with Fantilli man.
It's hard to get excited about draft picks. The bust rate is too high for me to care

can someone tell me what is really going on in Vancouver with Petterson and Miller? It sounds like the bravo shows my wife watches.

Seems to me like people don't like Millers personality, it's not the first time he and a teammate have had issues.

I have watched maybe 4-5 Columbus games and it’s like halfway into each game I have to look at the boxscore to see if he’s even playing.

What about Carlsson? I don’t think I’ve watched a minute of Anaheim but his numbers look pretty shitty as well. He only has 12 points in 25 games played, with an unsustainable 21% shooting percentage.

Anaheim scores less than the Hawks though. I think they're the lowest. But big guys also take some time. I dont think they're too behind what is reasonable

Second lowest it appears, at 2.42 goals per game.

Hawks at 2.56 per game for context, 4th worst in the league.

Nashville dead last at 2.32 per game.

Seider is lucky he didn't get smoked in the back. I have no idea why he's turning away from that shot. Yikes.
I wrote Laine off for the rest of his career. Thought he was spiraling out but it looks like he’s somehow back to being an impact player. That shot of his is incredible.

I’m also surprised more players don’t want to go play in MTL. Yeah the fans are nuts but that can be a positive too.

Kinda like the fans who say they never would've given Seabrook his contract. If you won't take care of guys who sacrifice their long-term health for the ultimate prize (and are successful in that pursuit THREE TIMES, then who will you pay?
No intelligent GM gives Seabrook his contract. As his play had noticeably declined the season prior and he had a whole season remaining on the current deal when when the retirement contract was signed.
Could have (should have) waited another year. Given him half as much and he still would have been overpaid. And we could have considered it back pay thank you for 3 cups.
It was terrible vision by Bowman to not recognize Seabrooks body was breaking down.

It can be rather unwelcoming if you don’t speak French. I would never go there again. Definitely don’t want to live there.

The amount of GMs that missed on Laine. Was an absolute gift

Only another year after this one and he’s got one of the best shots in the game

Canes should have been all over him in particular. They need a game breaker to push over the edge
