Perhaps but there are quite a few good players who get frustrated with being hacked, high sticked, hooked, held etc... Jonathon Toews among them. Other vets like Crosby and McKinnon are also in that group ... IMO, it is a direct product of the inconsistent amateurish refereeing we witness game in and game out in the NHL. Officials will call the chintziest so-called infractions and then somehow miss the obvious calls like the blatantly obvious hold on Kucherov in last night's game. Anyone would be frustrated. My 2 cents.
