It is what it is. Level playing field. He didn't even go first, so the freshest ice is not even a reason. A to B, B to C, A to Z. He's the fastest in the league. Butch Goring is proud to shout it every broadcast.

This small child isn't just any small child...this one is pretty special.

For her to be going thru what's she's going thru healthwise and to have such a positive outlook and a dynamic personality to boot...I dunno man, there aren't too many kids I know or have knows like Lala.

I've watched a few documentaries on her and she really is an inspiration....good for her!

What I've noticed since this new format came to be 5 years ago...the players do float 1st half of the game to get the feel of things and than 2nd half it tightens up with alot less goofing around.

Than in the championship game with a million bucks on the line, there is no floating at all for most part, and all of a sudden guys are busting their ass down the ice both offensively and defensively.

Hence why this format IMO is probably the best all star format the NHL has come up with many many moons
