Bless your heart.Happy draft lottery day everyone!
Hopefully getting up at 3 AM will be worth it.
Carlsson/Fantilli are great consolation prizes, Bedard was never ours and likely never will be, it should be hard to come out of today feeling bad.Virtually 0 chance of it happening, but I want the #12 and 13 teams winning the draws. Or one of them winning the draw for #1 and anyone else can win the #2 pick.
Unfortunately, I think it's going to be pretty anti-climactic (for us) if two teams behind Columbus win the lottery. We'll already know that they got the #1 and #2 picks (unless it's a #12+ team), and we'll be stuck at 3.
Oh absolutely. Whoever we get will be the best prospect we've had in recent memory. Just saying we might know our result well before it's announcedCarlsson/Fantilli are great consolation prizes, Bedard was never ours and likely never will be, it should be hard to come out of today feeling bad.
Yeah in hindsight that didn't really make sense as a response to you specifically. Just in general. Today's a good day, only thing we don't know is if it's a great day.Oh absolutely. I see the logic but worry what message that would send to the locker room and their morale.I think if the Ducks do end up getting the #1 pick they need to explore trading Terry.
He's older than the core and you can't have that many undersized soft players in your top 6. His value is at an all time high
You got up early for this? Not sure why I'm so nervous/anxious about this, the ducks are going to get a good player regardless. And I hate that I got up early on my day off but this will be me the next 8 hours:
If two of those teams won it right off the bat I would literally be incandescent lmaoVirtually 0 chance of it happening, but I want the #12 and 13 teams winning the draws. Or one of them winning the draw for #1 and anyone else can win the #2 pick.

I actually feel pretty good about tonight. Think it's our time.
If Chicago wins it, then you know it’s rigged. If there was a god, they’d punish them for the whole Kyle Beach scandal.my pre draft guess
1. Blackhawks
2. Blue jackets
3. Ducks
I sure as shit don't miss those. Next day at work was always hell. The time change is actually gonna save me, as I’ll get home in time from an outrageously scheduled (10:15 PM faceoff) game one in my rec league‘s best-of-three final series.
Looking forward to getting the draft lottery over with - my attempts at manifestation via NHL23 have had me using Bedard with Zegras and McTavish for some time, I hope that’s gonna cut it on my end.

Not intentionally. I woke up, immediately thought about it being draft day, thought it was closer to 9am so just figured I'd get up instead of going back to sleep and then when I looked at my phone it was 7am. Been twiddling my thumbs ever since. You got up early for this?
