That’s an interesting take. Lot of the independent scouting services are praising some of the Kings’ selections. I think some of you armchair GMs are a bit too reactive when seeing a player you focused on get passed over.

I like that they've made selections that are plays for upside and clearly with an eye 5 years down the road, Faber and to a lesser extent Grans. Lias Andersson is the kind of gamble they can afford to take as well.

I like the selection of Zayde Wisdom by Philly. Good value at the top of the 4th round.

I'm guilty as charged, I admit it. I'm just spitting out my immediate reactions to picks without much context, to be fair. Hell I was one of the people who crapped myself about the Bjornfot pick before Kaliyev got selected. I don't think there's anything wrong with that in the GDT though.
