First year... I'd take klimchuck 5th or 6th overall after mckinnen. Hes not as beastly after the update.

Not sure if this is happening to others.

I have NHL 13 on Xbox360. No matter who it is, players only seem to develop certain attributes like shot, puck, checking. They NEVER get any better in their skating. At most they will get to 81-84 speed. Nor will any grinders have aggressiveness. Only tough guys have agressiveness. Is anybody else seeing this?!

Depends on what you're looking for. In most cases, I'd say Player B. If you already have some good offensive defensemen but you're lacking a defensive stalwart, Player A.

No i drafted both (1st and 6th) took 3 years and neither of them were above a 65, neither was ryan Murray..

I've noticed that a lot of players only reach their full potential in their mid 20's. Not many max out before that.

Really gonna test the progression. Using CBJ with the newest rosters I traded Umberger, Dubinsky and Boll for Mcilrath, Krieder and JT Miller. . . Yeah we'll see how this goes..

wow after some funky trade offers i managed to have 5 first rd picks in the top 10, which I then traded 3 of them to NJ (who had the #3 and #4 picks, I had #1 and #2) and a 2015 1st for the 3rd and 4th pick. Successfully grabbing the first 4 picks in the draft, while maintaining my core

Johansen(80), Johnson(85), Wisnewski(86),Anisimiov(82), Brassard(85), Murray(75), Krieder(82), Miller(75)

and adding

my guess is that Mantha and Jones will have higher jumps and overalls due to the high awareness and stick and passing skills.

It was likely Juvonen. He jumps fast, 4.5*. There's also a big swedish goalie that jumps to 83-84 in season 2 that you can usually get around 17 overall. Peteresen I think.

Found a pretty nice prospect in the 3rd round, 67th overall in 2018. His name was Vesa Koivistu, 18 years old and he's a 6'2" 219lbs, 72 PWF. Jumped up to an 82 in his second year before I even signed him and then I played him in the AHL the next year, he put up like 60 points and jumped up to an 83, which he stayed at for the next year.

In 2021 the top 2 draft picks were both 81+ and I drafted 2nd overall, picked up Earl Alberts and he's a 6'9" 235lb 18 year old DFD.. The guy who went first overall was some 82 TWF.
