Patriots/NFL NFL Patriots Off Season

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I don't think anyone believes that updated arm measurement.

According to NFL draft analyst Tony Pauline, Campbell is not the only offensive lineman who measured better at his Pro Day. Boston College’s Ozzy Trapilo and Drew Kendall, among others, also gained at least half an inch with their Pro Day arm-length measurements. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler also stressed it’s not “home-cooking” since NFL scouts conduct the measurements at Pro Days, much like the NFL scouting combine. It’s why the inconsistencies are “curious” to teams, Brugler said.

If Hunter or Carter aren’t there, I’d grab Tet McMillan. This LT class is weak. A good upgrade at LT will be available in R2. WR is too big of a need.
98.5 sports hub reporting Pats interested in adding Keenan Allen. If so, WR may not be such a pressing need (in round 1 anyhow). Maybe they can afford to take some round 2 or 3 swings at wideouts.

Interesting. Getting known-commodity WRs are a safe bet, but I’m just not crazy about the LT market this year. Rebuilds are always at least a little messy… I guess we’ll see what we’ll see.

yes I would not complain if he’s that good
If Hunter and Carter are gone, I do wonder if Jeanty is the most impactful player. If he is a future Saquon/Henry level talent, I don't see how that is any less valuable then an elite WR. Yes there is more injury concern, but at the end of the day, we know that Vrabel wants at least one Bell cow RB and I doubt he sees Rhamondre as that gut.

I don't know if I would have the guts to pull the trigger, but I don't think I will be upset if the Patriots don't.

According to Schefter, it looks like Cam Ward and Abdul Carter are going to be the first two picks in the draft.

That would leave the Giants with a decision to make at #3 between Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders.

There was an off the beaten path “report” today that Dak Prescott to the Browns was gaining steam (for the 2nd overall pick) seeing the Cowboys draft Shedur Sanders. That would be fantastic for the Pats.
