Honestly I do think Aho is one of those NHLers who just tries to outwork players and outsmart them. He wasn't blessed with a Kucherov elite vision or a Stamkos elite shot, particularly imposing frame, or even elite skating. He thinks the game overall better than most NHLers and is more tenacious than most. Reminds me a touch of Crosby in that he does a lot of things well and also has a grinder kind of mentality, even though a lot of parts of his game are different. He fits the team perfectly as a 1C under Brind'Amour, as I don't think a lesser working but more skilled Aho would do as well as the focal point of the team's offense.
