should be fun. I saw one of the russian skaters a few years ago land some of those quad jumps up close and personal, and man it really showed me that figure skaters are some of the best damn athletes in the entire world. Really incredible athleticism and they have to do the artsy aspects of it too. Underappreciated sportI’m going to the National Figure Skating championships this weekend in Columbus at Nationwide. I guess I somehow procured my tix through CBJ instead of Ticketmaster. So I am now being wooed as a season ticket buyer for them. I don’t even open the invites from the Canes now because I have had too much work travel to attend anything. Is this standard offer for Open Houses? Gotta Love the free parking.
Tanya Harding wishes she had access to a cannon.I want to hear (and see) the reaction of Terry Gannon, Jonny Weir, and Tara Lapinski to the cannon.
“WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!”Tanya Harding wishes she had access to a cannon.

Did they confuse him with Bear?Looked like a case for a "NO FINNS OR INDIANS ALLOWED" sign, but apparently Seth being First Nations was false news then:
Update and correction, Nov. 12, 2021: Our story erroneously identified Seth Jarvis of the Carolina Hurricanes as being of Cree and Saulteaux ancestry from the Peguis First Nation. After a review with our sources, Windspeaker.com has confirmed that Mr. Jarvis is not Indigenous. We apologize for this error in our reporting and for any confusion or concern this error may have caused. We have removed Mr. Jarvis from this year’s list of Indigenous NHL players.

Wouldn't think so, as Jarvis specifically has had Saulteaux ancestry mentioned besides Cree.Did they confuse him with Bear?
They skated things like circles and figure 8s, and then had to skate them a second time, and judges would inspect how close the cuts in the ice were to each other.I don’t really know how they judge figure skating now but from what I understand the origin of it was drawing shapes (figures) in the ice with your blades, and that always seemed like a cooler aspect to focus on than like the dance element, to me at least
Speaks on "desperation" as a primary motivator for the team.
