because he has the flexibility to play both forward and D. especially with Zubrus out, he needs to stay up.

Because he doesn`t care, so why should we? Tallinder`s situation, however, is concerning, that`s for sure.

If anything the Tallinder thing might become an issue soon if he stays up in the press box. For example look at Zidlicky last year once he started being vocal in complaints. Who knows if they could have gotten a better deal had he stayed quiet but I suspect he would have. I'd rather not have to ship Tallinder for a granola bar.

And does Zajac's deal really count as a big one? I mean it's under 6

I don`t think Tallinder is that type of a person. What I think is wrong is that we`re hurting his trade value right now. So the longer it gets the worse. Lou has to find the line and make a move. It`s fine that we`re patiently waiting for someone to hit the panic button, but this can`t drag for much longer.

I hope not but you never know and I assume his agent may make a move as well. Also I assume he'll be in a game eventually. Between a dman getting banged up or whatnot, and most teams know what kind of game he brings and such already as well. Definitely not good to have him sitting around though.

For a player like that, you adjust the system slightly to fit him, like we did for Kovy. He'd do fine here. The litmus test for being a good Devil is simple: does he play good defence? If not, can he learn how? If yes, then he'll do fine. Crosby qualifies.

It's all moot anyway, he's never leaving the Penguins unless Shero is a complete moron.
