Technically he's making a pro-rated 6.5M plus a pro-rated 1M, and then next year makes a full 6.5M (or a bought out portion, not sure how amnesty works) + whatever he gets from a team. Redden made out like a bandit. By getting bought out, he makes even more money. And the catch is he blows. He's laughing all the way to the bank.
