So Modano saved the Stars from becoming yet another blue colored team. Good on him, because as "meh" as the jerseys are now, blue (or blue, white, and red) jerseys would be terrible.

Green is the best color for a hockey jersey. The fact that Dallas managed to screw it up this badly is mindboggling.

Wow, those are actually pretty nice. Maybe a little too Team USA-like but very clean. Definitely better than the new ones.

When I first saw em yesterday my reaction was, great another team jersey **** up, but upon seeing them actually worn by somebody and not just the concept photos, they really aren't that bad

Away ones look pretty sharp and the green is similar to that of when they were in Minny so there is some 'heritage' I guess

The white jersey is the better of the two, but I think they both look awful. One of my pet peeves with jerseys is when they're two different styles for home and away.

For example, the Devils use the same style jersey for both but the colors are just inverted. In those, the home jersey is a solid color while the away is white but has the shoulder portion colored. The home jersey has two colored horizontal stripes while the away has 3 different colors. It just looks stupid.

no real reason it would affect the game either way i guess.....i just think that players should have the right to choose. if they dont care about their eyes then who is to say they should have to put a visor on

personally i never liked wearing the full cage for pickup games so i modified the shape of something like this mask below to fit over my face while using an yzerman style old school CCM helmet. i also widened the eyes slightly to get a bit more peripheral vision.
