Burmistrov is another josefson except with even more offensive talent that he just can't put together. Wouldn't mind taking a flier on him since he can play all forward positions, but I just don't see us offering up the best deal.
I'm kind of surprised he's pulling a turris. He and Kane never had attitude problems in Atlanta but have apparently imploded in Winnipeg. Meanwhile bogosian did the exact opposite. That's a tough one to figure out.

I feel the same way. I like Burmistrov, but wouldn't be willing to sacrifice too much of value for him right now. Some other team would best our offer.

Just another name on the long, long list of golden boy ufa's that have gone terribly wrong for the Rangers. It's truly laughable.

Gaborik, Richards, and coming soon...Nash.

Burmistov could be the type of young forward a young Dman and a pick could be gotten for, but I have no clue what his market value is at the moment.

I can't imagine it'd be too high. He's essentially quitting on his team and hasn't really been lighting up the scoresheet. Hopefully Lou can pull a 5th rounder for a Russian deal again.

We don't need Burmistrov, our bottom 6 is not an issue, we need help in the top 6, not adding more bottom 6 guys that are being slotted in the top 6

Literally nothing would surprise me, I could see a Ranger blowout a la our Game 4 against Carolina in 2006, and I can see a total implosion and a Boston blowout a la Lakers-Mavs in the NBA playoffs a couple years ago. Obviously a close game wouldn't surprise me either way.
