He's week-to-week with a LBI, sucks. If he passed Wayne and potted 50-60 goals as a 39 year old, it would have been incredible and an emphatic exclamation point on his "best goal scorer in history" mantle.

I doubt the Bruins will muddle away, as the sharks have. Rags announced a rebuild and were contenders within 2 years. Players typically want to play for the original six. I’d be ok if the bruins did hit the skids though.
I was surprised. I figured it was more on the players underperforming, or performing back at the mean, than a bad coaching job.
Maybe. A mistake in firing him IMO, I thought he was a good coach. Will land another job no problem.
That play for original 6 is such bullshit. Players DGAF, they’re making millions and will play anywhere they’re getting paid.

They should trade him. Or maybe trade someone because it’s kinda obvious it’s not working beyond a money train that doesn’t translate to team success. Toronto seems happy with it though.

Every now and then I like to spread a little positivity.
Looking at guys like Tarasenko and Kane on Detroit’s roster as well as Mike Hoffman, I have to begrudgingly give Lou some credit for retaining someone like Palmieri rather than wasting cap space and picks on aging guys like that.
