Who cares. One win tonight and goodbye!

Yeah looking at the schedule earlier it's like if we can have 1 team lose please be Buffalo. They sort of lost that 4 games in hand advantage, tomorrow we can really bury them

I think Francis is on the conservative side with his building approach. I don't think he has any interest in going the Vegas route. Looks like he wants that team growing organically into a competitor.

The success this season is like free money. It's putting fannies in the seats and just getting to the playoffs makes this season a real win. His victory is going to be in this summer's draft. 4 picks in the first two rounds; 10 in total.

Then he's got plenty of space to go shopping this summer. The next step can come next season.

We can't forget - the west is pretty wide open come playoff time.

Sure, but he could've added some reinforcements (not elite additions, but solid) without depleting the cupboard. Especially given the wide open West. I've seen plenty of their games this year, they could definitely do some damage with a bit more help. Alas, here we are.

Isles could really put their future in their own hands if they can win in regulation tonight. Buffalo is a somewhat tough matchup for them but they will have to be able to slow them down.

A playoff-worthy team takes advantage of this situation and leaves the young Sabres going home with their tails between their legs.

Three straight games that are all "4-pointers". The wins have to keep coming at this point.

With the TD come and past, now we can start wondering if Lamoriello will use one of those 5 free contract spots to rake in a CHL, college, or European free agent. Here are a few interesting articles about who is available.

Interesting here is also the list of college draftees who need to be signed by AUG 15th or become UFAs.

While I'm at it, a considerable list of noteable North American overagers for the upcoming draft has been provided and detailed by McKeen's:

He might be an asshole. He might have a rough contract moving forward. But JT Miller is a heck of a player.
I do prefer Horvat to him just because he seems like a :eek::eek::eek:. Isles have an awesome locker room, wouldn't want to mess that up
