I mean, it's an article about pizza. I don't know how incisive you're gonna get with this.Brilliant observation, Lee.

I guess my expectations were too high, then. I mean, “good pizza = good pizza” was a pretty low bar to clear.I mean, it's an article about pizza. I don't know how incisive you're gonna get with this.
They include the quotes they want to include. I wouldn't expect anything but pablum.I guess my expectations were too high, then. I mean, “good pizza = good pizza” was a pretty low bar to clear.
It isn't just Dubas.
They will skimp on goaltending and defense. Outscoring your mistakes is the name of their game. How are they going to be able to afford to have anyone else on the team?
I think this was a decision they had to make, I'd guess Marner is on the way out eventually. And given all the reasons Tavares went to Toronto, one would think he's not in a position to demand big money to resign. Obviously one mistake was resigning Tavares. The flip side mistake was not dealing Marner sooner. They could have gotten much more for him than they'll end up getting. They will skimp on goaltending and defense. Unspoken caveat, unless you're the NYR, Bruins, Avalanche, etc..Don't draft kids going to college.
*Looks at the Islanders prospect list*Don't draft kids going to college.
I knew this was going to be a shit trade for LA. If Vilardi could stay healthy it would have been even more lopsided. Vilardi is making a huge impact for the Jets right now. Just needs to stay healthy.Strange how I haven't heard a hockey nerd berate the PLD contract, yet was so fast to call the Horvat trade a "lose lose"
huh

All that and they have one more point than the Islanders. How the hell do they plan on icing 20 players a night when 20% of the skaters are taking up more than 50% of the cap?
There’s gotta be a trade at some point. 4 players making 11 mil (or just shy of it) on the same team is some pre salary cap nonsense

I think Seattle has 9 OTL as wellToronto and LA are up to 8 OTL and Boston is up to 9. So just one question, is anybody calling them the Toronto, LA and Boston Loser Points yet? Or does that only apply to the Isles?
