Gudbranson is one of the better and yet, still an underrated fighter in the NHL. Has already fought and convincingly beat Wilson.

Mathieu Oliver and Gudbranson can go, they are one of the few teams with multiple muscle
Oliver didn't dress and I doubt Gudbranson isn't on his best behavior lately so likely not chasing Wilson around the rink. Either way it can't the goalie fighting his battle and it took along time for someone to get there.

I saw the video and I was SHOCKED it took that long for someone to show up.

I know it's hard to realize with all of those 3rd period collapses and OT/SO losses, but I noticed today that there a grand total of THREE teams in the entire league with fewer regulation losses than the Isles: Boston, the Rangers, and the Kings. That surprised me. Banking points in November and December makes it easier to make the playoffs for sure.

Nice, another point for the Flyers

You idiots were up 5-1 for petes sake. I know we like to bitch and whine about the islanders but the isles would've easily held onto that and then some. Detroit got no excuses.

Funny stuff on the TNT broadcast. The delivery of the Olive Branch was by Chris Jastrzembski, who I've known for years. Chris is now on the production staff there after a stint at ESPN. He's a longtime lacrosse fanatic.

We correspond once in a while, mostly about lacrosse, since he was SB Nation's college lacrosse blogger under the 'College Crosse' label for 4 years. He's a great guy and now I get to talk about the Isles and hockey too.

I think the Biz/Islanders strife is hilarious, it just feeds into the Islanders’ identity as blue collar lunch pail boys.
I just think it makes the islanders relevant from a national media perspective, which is good for the goose which is good for the gander.

Happy 2024 lol. A kinder gentler game.

Just re-listened to Vukota talking about jumping POS dale hunter with Pilon below the Coliseum. I miss Richie Pilon.
Pilon was a psycho. Not Trevor Gillies psychotic but still…

It's also 3 on 3.
