Tampa and rags beating the hell out of each other. Physical game. TB expending a lot of energy. If we don’t take advantage tomorrow we don’t deserve to be in the playoffs.
I came to post nearly the same thing.

Probably means we’re both wrong.

To those who care (Passover starts tonight!!) - if Devon Levi pans out for Buffalo (he's had quite a start), all of the NY & area teams will have Jewish stars *except* for NYI. (Adam Fox & Jack Hughes are the others). Ah well.
Bailey and a pick for Schmaltz. Problem solved. :sarcasm:

Have the islanders ever had a Jewish player? For a fanbase that does have a good portion of Jewish fans, we really don't have that player

Actually that would be an amazing move for the isles.

Well, at least CLB won the offseason UFA award with Johnny Trademark - they are hot garbage.

We should have kept Ebs

As Seph said, Ho-Sang is Jewish.

Because Jews are taught to consider people who convert to Judaism as being Jews their whole lives, there's also Bobby Nystrom. (It's kind of a riddle, but it has purpose). He didn't convert until after retirement, but Jews could regard him as a Jewish player. Of course, nobody who is not Jewish would think of him that way. (That's not a criticism)

The Isles haven't ad any others, so far as I know. But the number of Jewish players in the NHL have increased a LOT over the last 5-10 years, and now includes multiple star players.

Bob Nystrom is not Jewish. His son Eric and Eric's mom are Jewish.

Nate Thompson is Jewish, as is Dylan Reese, so that's two

Not a player, but Mitch Korn is

Nate Thompson was also a convert.

But the most prominent would’ve been Matthieu Schneider I believe.
