I grew up on the basic cable package that was basically just the OTA stuff, but I never watched Gunsmoke. Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeannie, MASH? Absolutely. Three Stooges was a favorite. God bless cheap syndication. Lotta great classic TV.

Though once family was over and my aunt left the TV on for her dogs when we were out, and she found Little House on the Praire on one of those secondary OTA channels because she didn't want them watching anything violent. We came home to a big gunfight in Gunsmoke. Oops.
