For those into the stats: are you able to search for a players stats in the last “x” amount of games? I know some sites will show the last 10 but if I wanted to go further back is that an option? For example I was curious about Skjei’s last 82 games.
yes naturalstattrick allows to you to search by dates.

When I open that on my phone it shows him as having scored 7 goals in the last 81. He’s scored 8 so far in 40.
yes he has scored 7 in 5v5 over the last 82 team games. He has scored 11 over all strengths in that time

He’s probably so pissed
I can't find the tweet thread, but somebody was talking to him this morning and he was, well, exactly as you'd expect. Made a sarcastic comment about it coming in the middle of a losing streak, how he's honored but the honor should be for the team and the rest of the (best in NHL, etc) coaching staff, how he wished he could send a member of his staff in his place, and already had plans to spend time with his family.

Very much on the nose for the guy who after going once as a player called the league every year and asked them not to pick him for the game.

We love a cause and Canes social loves the engagement. This number doesn't include retweets yet.

So… Canes fans are voting more than all other fanbases combined?

Either those numbers are real — and genuinely shocking because holy shit is that disproportionate — or something’s up with how those votes are being generated.

Til we meet again, Kooch

has to be done, we haven't been winning with him (although he played well yesterday overall) and Freddie is back and playing well. Kooch needs consistent starts which he'll get in Chicago. I'm sure we've seen enough to be confident slotting him in with the Canes next year whether as a 1a or 1b or backup (depending on what we do with Freddie/Raanta/other UFA/trade).

On the flipside, Chicago looks like a tire-fire right now and gives up a ton of chances/goals, so Kochetkov should be able to see a lot of shots and work on his game there.

On the downside, the chances of Andersen AND Raanta both staying healthy are minuscule, so his stay down there might be short lived.

Chicago is dead last. Unfortunately that may mean we miss out on some development time for any of the college guys / euros we wanted to add this season. But guys like Kooch, Morrow, etc will be fine roster extras / black aces for the playoffs.

Well, no one can call us fair-weather or make "they don't care about Hockey" comments because I don't see O6 fans voting like this.

As for Pyotr, he'll get some good reps in Chicago. He's still developing and he needs to play. And Chicago needs a goaltender.

So yeah, we are crazy as fans and Kooch is getting a needed stint in the AHL
