Chytil Laf and Gaut looked good last game getting pucks on net, some nice board work too after smart chips and chase not forcing things in the NZ, and getting pucks on net. Laf has been guilty of forcing some cross ice passes on 3 on 3s or 2 on 2s which he's cut back on recently. Last game Laf engaged the Ds along the boards in the o zone with a purpose, provided support for his linemates double teaming along the boards when appropriate, and recognized when the puck battle was going to be in our favor and got himself into a position to receive the pass or got into the lane when it became evident the battle was a lost cause. And Gaut continues to use his size and speed either to get behind the D with possession, or be the first on the puck in the corner and it's working. Still needs better balance and agility but he's a big dude, that takes time. Hope they get rewarded with points.
Kakko's becoming harder and harder to knock off the puck each game, he's absorbing hits and shoves, staying on his feet and keeping the puck on his stick, it's wonderful to see. Hasn't directly led to much points just yet, but it's comin'.
