Anyone know when NYR will be selling individual game tickets?
Do you mean the tiers? I don’t think the opponents matter so much as the dates except for rivals and maybe O6 matchups.Anyone get how Rangers “finance” prices per opponent? Seems like Ottawa is bunched in with other low-rung Canadian teams, yet they could actually be the most competitive of the bunch and should get a price premium (unless Huberdeau gets Calgary religion lol).
Think about it as overall demand for a game. The opponent matters, but it matters more if people want to see that opponent, not how good the opponent is. The Islanders can be great or terrible, but the demand for that game will always be high. Then factor in day of the week, time of the season (earlier games tend to be less in demand/less expensive), other seasonal factors (thanksgiving/xmas/new years/NFL Sundays), and time of the game (1:00pm weekend games always in demand because there are only 1-2 a year and the perfect game to bring kids to).Anyone get how Rangers “finance” prices per opponent? Hey thx for the reply - been lolligagging it during the off-season. So yeah I get what you’re saying “demand wise.” For some reason I would have thought that the ticket Gods would also be paying attention to “quality of competition.” I think OTT has stepped it up a ton.Think about it as overall demand for a game.
