Damn it I was so annoyed we gave up the 2 goal lead in the 2nd, but man the team hung tough in the 3rd and made plays in the OT period.

I was just yapping for Nash to score a goal, but the man is making plays out there. That line of Zucc-Brass-Pou are making **** happen...This schedule is so bad that we needed a big win.

We did squat in the 3rd. We forced Fleury to make... one tough save? Did he even need to make a tough save?

It wasn't a lopsided as the second, but they clearly outplayed in the third IMO.

Disagree...the Rangers stabilized the game in the 3rd. (And both EJ and Duguay share this opinion.)

Well i stayed off the boards tonight to avoid all the negativity which would abound...Glad i did...and proud of the boys for winning like they did... as i knew they would... LGR!!!!!!!!!

Man i missed you! There was some crazy negativity going around when the game was tied. This board needs more fans like you.

A near .950 save % and we were the better team? We were outplayed in the 2nd and 3rd by a fairly wide margin. Credit where credit is due, please.

disagree about the 3rd. I think it was fairly even period. After **** ting the bed in the 2nd, they regrouped very well.

good effort

They did stablize it, agreed. They showed composure getting back to their game. That doesn't mean that the Penguins didn't have an edge that period though. It was an extremely competitive period where the Penguins had an edge. Just because it didn't look like boys versus men (which is what the 2nd period looked like) and just because the Rangers got back to their game, doesn't mean they couldn't have been outplayed. I thought the Penguins still had the territorial edge and had more chances.

First period Rangers >>> Penguins

Second period Penguins >>>> Rangers

Third period Penguins > Rangers

I even posted on the main forum, I in no way thought we were the better team, and if anything, I think the Penguins should have won that won.

I'll take the win though. Especially in Pittsburgh.

The 3rd started like a continuation of the 2nd for NYR, but they got their marbles back. Ended up being a pretty even period, maybe give the edge to the Rangers.

Relax on the players, please!

We should simply be faithful and grateful for what we get to see. (ot: sounds like religion ... uhoh.)

McD is out there, with a ****ed up shoulder. He's a ****ing warrior. And for all the mess he cleared up all season, he can afford a slump. Will he get better or worse? Hopefully better, we'll need him.

This was a team effort.

I guess, haters gonna hate.

Brad Richards has been quite good post-season. There is zero doubt about that.
Richards politely telling the reporter to **** off.
Shut up PJ Stock, you can **** off as well.

Oh, and again, where is the Richards love!?

Stop hating on him because of his $6.66M contract and age.

He has 3g 4a 7pts for us in the playoffs thus far. He is routinely contributing. He had a few good chances today. Scored a goal.

And only eight votes? He has been a game breaker for us.
