Im really unhappy with Richards tonight. His passes were horrible. He hit the tape on 1/10 ish. Shots wide (as usual). Bad decisions on PP. And not a single **** given on the backcheck. No one wants to pay $6,7 mill for that. He better step his **** the **** up.

So he's had one bad game in the playoffs and seven good ones. I think I'll give him a break.

Also, I like this Brad Richards much better. The discrepancy between this playoff Richards and last years is.........well night and day doesn't do it justice.

Hank was the best goalie on the ice. Arguably for the first time in the playoffs. I agree with Jonesy that the second goal should not have been allowed due to goalie interference. So he actually should only have one goal against. If the game was called correctly. In what universe does that goal count for the Rangers?

Why do we call Zucc's line the third line? They are our best line. Lock them up.

Was supposed to watch the game at my brother-in-law's, but somehow the DVR didn't actually work.

Which is kinda funny... because I watched 2 games in the Philly series there and they lost both. In other words, had the DVR worked right, the Rangers would've lost tonight.

Cool bro, please go point out where I do that. You are not Hank's Keeper (nevesis' job) you don't need to defend him, especially when he's not getting **** on. Chill out.

I didn't say you did. If we had Fleury in our net, we lose that game. Just minding the Credit Where Credit Is Due Dept. Hank had a great road playoff game, stopped a ton of quality chances and won the game in OT. That's all.

Really good first period. A poor second period. FWIW Neal's goal should not have counted as Malkin interfered with Lundqvist. The Rangers picked it up in the third a bit but Pittsburgh had the edge in play.

Henrik was really solid in this. The Rangers defense were pretty strong as well. When the Rangers put pressure on Fleury he was scrambling around in his net. He did not play all that well. The Pouliot goal was weak--he was left to swing in the wind by his own defense on the Richards goal and was scrambling about in OT when Brassard scored.

Overall Pittsburgh had the territorial advantage particularly in the 2nd period. The Rangers played with a lot more composure. No running around in their own end. McDonagh ****ed up on the Stempniak goal--otherwise he played pretty well. Girardi got second star in the game. He's had a first and a third as well in the playoffs--consider he had 1 second and 3 thirds the entire regular season. He's had some really good games. Stralman and Staal as well. Brassard and Pouliot were huge in this.

Stealing the first game on the road--that's a good deal. We have a chance to take the other and even if we don't we now have home ice advantage.

Break the DVR

Seven good ones? Just no. Dont get fooled by them numbers. He's about about 50/50 on good games/bad games. Thats not good enough.

Break the DVR

I should. But I can just solve that by not watching anymore games there. My brother-in-law is a friend and a Penguins fan, but he's just going to have to understand that some things are more important than hanging out to watch the games.

More than anything else, I was glad that Toronto did not come up with a way to disallow both of the OT goals. It would not have shocked me.

Same thing nearly happened to me. On Fios game was listed as a 7:30 start last night when I hit record. Missed half of the first, because of course it started at 7.. F u NBC.

Our best player was our best player and people think that's a problem? Confusion.

Ignore this junk.

I'm with a lot of people on Stralman. I'd really like to see him come back. McDonagh-Girardi, Staal-Stralman, Klein-Moore--keep it all together.

Boyle and Dominic Moore as well.

I don't want Brad Richards back but he's been very, very good so far in the playoffs.

I agree about Stralman, but J. Moore is just so bad.
