Kinda glad I tuned out after the first so that I didn't have to watch this team collapse again against the f***ing Kings.

ADA had a strong first period and showed that skill with the puck that we're all craving on the backend. He looks like bulked up a bit too, and I was surprised to see he's only listed at 183 on the HWP website.

ADA looks much more composed with the puck and in the d zone then at the start of the season.I have liked what i have seen from him these past 2 games.He probably already is our best passer from the blue line not named Shattenkirk.

Also can the broadcast stop spinning a fight as the reason the kings won?

And other nonsense we hear every broadcast. I have reached a point where muting the broadcast makes it more enjoyable to watch.

Smith shouldn't have crossed checked (Lewis?) Like that. The official was right there. He should have waited to fight Kyle Clifford instead of fighting kempe. Wouldn't have gotten the extra two for roughing Lewis and would have settled his argument with the guy he should have. Its not fighting that got them back in it. It was the stupid penalty he took for roughing, one he probably would have taken at any other point in the game knowing him though. But don't worry now we won't see another fight from him or anyone one of our other players for a while.

Smith did what I have done in the past, which is get pig-blind mad and want revenge. I get that it is wrong, technically, but I still lean that way and simply love some balls to the wall out of the box stuff. Always will.
Overall though, I have not been at all happy with Smith's game, or his recent penalties in general. What he took tonight I accommodate, his recent lazy stuff and lack of difference-making, that is what bothers me more.

Last night was a replay of games one and two of the Stanley Cup finals in 2014. The Rangers get off to a 2-0 lead. The Kings exert their heavy game and take the lead. Even Dan O’Halloran was there. Kings win. Nightmare.

The problem wasn’t the fight and it wasn’t the smith penalty. It was going 0/3 on the pk in quick succession. It is possible to kill a penalty sometimes

And that in itself was a fluke. Hasn’t happened in almost 10 years to this team.

The problem is that the offense isn’t good enough right now to overcome flukes like that.

Buchnevich has been our best forward (and it's not even ****ing close) but the Nash hate is way over the top.

Nash is robbing this team with that contract of his and this year he can't score and we brought him in here to score. He's a glorified checking forward that can kill penalties. The last two games he got hot. It must have been because those teams were bottom feeders. I'd love it if he could produce against playoff teams.

Would vehemently disagree with this..particularly being married to a female hockey player. Women play the game with a very high level of intelligence. Its a different game it's way smarter than the men's league...positioning and movement are phenomenal.
