How about he go a shootout without letting a goal go through him. The other two attempts was a weak attempt that was pretty much the same attempt as the one that beat him. The third attempt was Zetterberg faking him out of his jock strap and missing the net. You seem to be the one ignoring context and scoreboard watching.

And shattenkirk needs to be ALOT better. I don’t care what he does in his zone but he needs to put up pts. He’s been garbage for a month now.

Miller is an idiot. I love the kid but he’s an idiot. Doesn’t bear down in scoring positions.

Yes, it was a game of miss chances - we deserved to lose that game if not for Hank`s great saves.
It was nice that Vinni L. scored on his debut when his family watch him too - just sad they could not pull a win - we need to finish plays which tells us we need a sniper in next year draft.

The other goalie played just as well and the Rangers had a ton of chances.

There was a time when Lundqvist would go 3 for 3 regularly in shootouts. The one goal he gave up was shit. The one save he made was nothing special. And the third attempt he was beat so bad he jock strap was hanging on the net.

They really REALLY need to work on their shootouts. Points are so important these days and they're pissing them away unable to score in shootouts.

Zucc needs to stop forcing that move coming in slow and shooting, the goalies are expecting it. He needs to only use it occasionally and work in some fakes and dekes like his move last game. Like Nielsen prob knew Hank was expecting his patented deke, so he changed it up.

I just want to see someone come in with some speed and make the goalie off balance and shoot. Go in slow and deliberate you're making it harder on yourself because the move needs to be perfect. If Skjei takes his penalty shot and just goes in full speed Howard would be off balance and then you surprise him with the shot as he's moving back. Go in slow and try and force a shot 5 hole without even getting him to open up and you're setting yourself up to fail.

From the moment they named him Captain I knew he would never be the same player. It's laughable to think it has no impact on a players psyche. He is just not Captain material. You'd think the Rangers would have learned this lesson after the Brian Leetch Captain debacle. Why tarnish a great players legacy? We haven't had a good Captain since Messier (in his first stint).

Yes it does matter when you post it. You never seem to post it when they win and play well. When healthy this team can beat any team in the east in a 7 game series except Tampa. In answer to your question I don't think they are going to win the cup but that doesn't mean they still don't have a good team.
