This could be the only fan base in hockey that has their team in a playoff position in one of the toughest division in hockey and doesn't want them to make the playoffs .
Sell holden and Nash. Make the playoffs anyway. Get a 21st pick instead of 15th pick. Call me short sighted and intrested in immediate gratification but I want playoff hockey in April especially with a goalie who probably only has 2 more seasons for a shot at playoff hockey. Trust me I'm just about the future as the next person but this team is not dropping low enough to get a top 5 pick

I think part of the frustration is that many of us don't trust the front office to sell Nash, Grabner etc if we are in a playoff spot, nor are we good enough to go all the way with them, so we end up in a weird limbo like last season

Common sense has no place on this board.

Watching the post game (thank you, NHL.com). I LOVE JT Miller's hat. Hank's wearing it too. Really nice hat.

You didn't answer my question. 2 of the best teams in the league just lost to Arizona recently. Do they suck?

No, Nashville and Washington don't suck. But I'm not talking about Nashville and Washingotn. I'm talking about this team. This team sucks.

If it was one bad game against Arizona (or whoever) I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind if it was five bad games.

This is three seasons now of a formula that isn't working.

Lundqvist played superman tonight. Vesey and Miller were pretty good. McDonagh, Skjei, Nieves, Lettieri and Hayes were okay. The best that could be said for the rest is that some of them rose to mediocrity.

I don't know how Buchnevich got 2nd star of the game. He wasn't on the ice for either of the two goals--had 0 shots on goal, no face-offs, no hits or blocked shots in 15:33. He was pretty invisible. Speaking of invisible though--Nash and his $7.8 mil contract.

Can you imagine what's gonna happen here on the board with the bye week after VGK roll on us?

A week of misery. Can't wait!

Bingo.

You can be a playoff team and STILL sell.

Ok fair enough but what do u think we will get for Nash? At this point maybe a second or a third ? Grabner nets a second albeit I think he's easily worth a first . I would like to keep grabs and extend him somehow unless we are getting a first rounder plus for him

Yea he's an ideal 4th liner. I was pulling for him to make the team out of camp, though Carey has been better than I expected.

Carey works because he's an actual hockey player instead of a 4th line grinder who does muh hard work.

No, he's not great, but he's significantly more talented than many of the traffic cones who "work hard" and "hit" populating NHL 4th lines. We should try that more often.

Sure that’s the ideal scenario but if they’re a playoff team, they aren’t selling

The Blues sold Shattenkirk last year and still made the playoffs.

Does anyone legitimately see the Rangers selling Nash if they’re gonna make the playoffs?

I don’t

This entire season can be summed up So far by a long Henrik Lundquist montage.

Henrik had been in God mode almost the entire year...what a turnaround for the king.

I do. Gorton isn't stupid.
