He is determined to bring this team to the playoffs.

The problem is Lundqvist has to be rock solid just to beat teams like the Sabres and Coyotes. That's a problem.

Vegas will blow us out if the Rangers play like this.

Prob doesn't wanna lose his buddies replaced by teenagers which will make him feel like he"s their father!

Dump AV for a real coach (not Ruff), Lias and Chytil make the team next year. That's a starting point.

Could turn out better than expected if we get a real system.

Still convinced this defense is good on paper.

Guys I know they didn't play well but what do u guys want? This team is not dropping low enough to get a top 5 pick. Do you want to make the playoffs or no? I know one thing is for sure I'd rather make the playoffs than get the 15th pick. As long as we don't buy at the deadline I'm cool with whatever happens

If it was just pick 15 vs make the playoffs, then I'd prefer the playoffs. But I'd much prefer selling off a few assets (Nash, Holden, Grabner) and not making any 'last kick of the can' trades.
If we do that and still fight for a wild card spot, excellent. But if we stand pat, 'self-rent' our players and not get past the 2nd round, I'd say it's a wasted season

I want a good coach who prepares this team to play 60 minutes or close to it consistently, a coach who allows them to play like they have a pair instead of neutering their physicality, a coach who doesn't force an idiotic defensive system on his players and a coach who will allow them to play good offense.

I don’t really think Buch is being benched. I think AV moves him down hoping for better matchups on the road. Buchnevich still got 15 mins. It’s not a thing. Just my opinion.

Remember how this season was supposed to be one where all the young defensemen get a chance? We were supposedly going to start with a younger, faster, more skilled team. All the younger defensemen are in the minors, they've combined for like 5 games this season.

Marc, Brendan and Nick must've chipped in to buy the punk a nice gift for his birthday.

Vasilevskiy will win the Vezina and he should, but Hank is being worked more than any other goalie in the league on a trash ass team and is still top 5 in SV% among starters.

I liked this, because it actually makes sense. Only thing is, I don't see Buch getting those chances he did, when he got like 4 or 5 goals in 4 games.

I like Vinni too but we need a coach that doesn't hate shooting. He throws everything on net, which is a good thing and something we lack.

This could be the only fan base in hockey that has their team in a playoff position in one of the toughest division in hockey and doesn't want them to make the playoffs .
Sell holden and Nash. Make the playoffs anyway. Get a 21st pick instead of 15th pick. Call me short sighted and intrested in immediate gratification but I want playoff hockey in April especially with a goalie who probably only has 2 more seasons for a shot at playoff hockey. Trust me I'm just about the future as the next person but this team is not dropping low enough to get a top 5 pick

I agree. I have such mixed feelings with Lundqvist that it's confusing at times. (This isn't directed at you) Hank does stand on his head and is the only one who shows up in a lot of games lately this season so far....but on the other hand feel this team doesn't deserve him. I want to see them give him an easy game now and then. It would set a lot of our minds more at ease for a while. I want a good, winning team. Depending on your goaltender to win you games isn't a winning formula.
