For me, anti-dream team should have some element of not living up to the hype (i.e., Kamensky) as opposed to just guys who weren't great but didn't have any expectations either (i.e., Purinton).

Robitaille-Staal-Kurri
Kamensky-Jokinen-Frolov
Higgins-Lundmark-Pyatt
Brashear-Skrudland-Keane

Redden-Quintal
Driver-Aaron Ward

Rucinsky seems out of place, no? He was great for us in each of his three stints.

PJ Stock was a fan favorite wherever he played including with us. When he was on the ice for us MSG was buzzing. Just saying. He's a legend in Boston. Ian Laperriere was one well respected guy around the league as well. Those were two tough buggers who fought above their weight class. Berg and Eastwood both played fairly well for us. Flatley briefly and he wasn't bad. Eric Cairns was just getting his feet wet.

I thought this thread would be fun to create (props to the OP from the actual "Dream Team" thread). My picks:

1st line: Glass - Christensen - Marcel Hossa
2nd line: Dawes - Tibbets - Jody Hull
3rd line: Kotalik - Toms - M. Puempel
4th line: Newberry - Higgins - Lisin

1st D pair: Purinton - Driver
2nd D pair: Ndur - Malik
3rd D pair: Gilroy - Popovic

Goalies: LaBarbera/Valiquette

Black Aces: Forwards: Hollweg, T. Pyatt, D.Paille Defense: Pilon, Ruff, Djoos, Bickel, McIlrath

Good thing I compiled this list before lunch.....what a nauseating bunch. Looking forward to other opinions....

Got some balls putting Tibbets on this list, he's gonna meet you outside in the parking lot.

Seriously...the guy is a psycho. Played in a Cape Cod league against him and the dude straight said he would meet me outside in the parking lot after I took the puck from him. I'm like bro, I gotta go to work after this lol

replace Kamensky with Brendl. If Lundmark was supposed to be the next Yzerman, Brendl was going to be the next Bure.

You know things were bad in the Dark Ages when the team signed every over-the-hill big-name enforcer like they did every over-the-hill big-name superstar.

The coaching staff has to be Ron Low as head coach, with Trottier and Muckler as the assistants.

And where is Kevin Stevens during all this?

He was a respectable fill in on the top line while Straka was injured.

Was a short period of time but he played his role decently.

Those years all I saw was Jagr! Jagr! Jagr! guy was unbelievable. Remember driving out to the Island and he put up 5?6? Points while we beat the piss outta them. Believe he finished with 120+ points.
