Rucinsky seems out of place, no? He was great for us in each of his three stints.

Yeah, he was one of the few that came to the NYR and actually increased his output (.81 pts/gm). ...but I see he meant Kamensky.

replace Kamensky with Brendl. If Lundmark was supposed to be the next Yzerman, Brendl was going to be the next Bure.

As I remember it going, Lundmark was suppose to be the next Roenick and Brendl the next Bossy(!). No wonder older Rangers fans are instinctively pumping the brakes on Lafreniere and Kakko.

And where is Kevin Stevens during all this?

In the bathroom doing a speedball...

Its crazy, because it felt like Jeff Toms was here being Jeff Toms for 100 years, but he only played 53 games as a Ranger. Fedyk actually played more.
Toms will always have that hat trick game. Or was it two goals? I feel like he and York both had two goals and one of them scored for the hat trick but it tipped off the other guy who actually got it.

EDIT: It was Toms that got the hat trick. York shot the puck. I remember being pissed because York was my favorite forward besides Mess on those teams: Boston Bruins at New York Rangers Box Score — January 23, 2002 | Hockey-Reference.com

It was along the "Canadian 2-way Center with leadership" and "Euro winger sniper" mindest at the time.

Yep hat trick. I was actually at that game. First game I took my girlfriend (now wife) to. Toms scored early and I was like "that's surprising, he is terrible" so of course he scored 2 more times.

It's too bad you cant search old old posts. I am pretty sure me and TB talked about his hat trick the last time we discussed Toms.

We did. I remember coming on the boards the next day and there was quite a little welcoming committee waiting for me. My disdain of Putty was wall known.

Any team as long as it includes Holik

Holik as a Ranger: 91 points in 146 games (51 pts/82)
Holik last three years as a Devil: 150 points in 240 games (51 pts/82)

There was nothing wrong with Holik as a Ranger, like Gomez, except miscast expectations because of his contract. However, back then there was no cap so the contract really didn't matter. He was the same player with the Rangers as he was before becoming a Ranger.
