Actually, there is a scary connection in terms of play from 91/92 to 92/93. The resemblance is uncanny.

The sooner the fans media and organization let go 94 we can win again. And enough of this correlation you keep implying with this team. The 92 team was ravaged by injuries this team sucks because of the defensive system and lack of depth. BIG difference.

You make yourself sound like we shouldn't criticize Torts at all, that's mostly why, Jonathan.

Seriously, I've been reading through this thread and I've seen many, many posts about how Torts is to blame for everything in all caps with multiple exclamation points. The criticism of him is reaching absolutely comical levels.

This won't do a thing but send Newbury down , thankfully the deadline is here so Boyle and Pyatt get lost

It's come to the point where people see nyr on theirs team schedule and an automatic W.

As I have said to someone via PM, it's making these threads unbearable.

They started the game well, played hard.
Fail to bury fantastic chances e.g. Miller and Gaborik had primo opportunities.

After that, they sag and do not keep up the level of work. I have seen this enough times to know it for fact, it is a pattern that they continue to reinforce.
They don't make comebacks. They used to. That is all gone.

The Nash trade was a huge mistake. I'm sure the Jackets are happy to get rid of him and his huge contract. He hasn't done much in this game except causing a pk which led to a puck in our net :shakehead

The Nash trade was fantastic. We moved two mediocre players and a decent D prospect for ****ing Rick Nash.

Two mediocre players lol. Dubinsky is arguably as good as Callahan. Anisimov would be our 3rd best forward, has size, plays a sound defensive game and is Columbus's go to forward playing in all situations. Decent D prospect lol, he'd slot in quite nicely instead of Hamrlol and Emingecrap. He was the organization's top prospect and they gave him away just like that.

Please tell me just how well the <.50 PPG Anisimov and Dubinsky are doing. The only player we truly miss is Dubinsky. We miss his heart. I don't miss the contract, however.

Edit: Oh, I see Ani finally got above .50PPG. :sarcasm:

How will they help? Well they add exceptional depth to our putrid bottom 6. It seems fans are discounting the bottom 6 and bottom defense pairing from the team.

When have I ever . . . EVER said that? Please show me. Don't worry. I'll wait.
well to be fair you have kind of made it sound like he was the reason we got to the ECF. The main reason we did was because hank was a beast last year and we had guys like prust dubi and feds. Torts system could have easily cost us many games. We barely made it through the first 2 rounds too
