But that's not really true since we have lost games where we have performed and accessed our strength. This team is losing in strange ways and has not been consistently bad in any one area in those losses.

I blame most of it on hockey sense and a lack of guts, but there's a reason this team has been so frustrating and it's because there is not one consistently bad thing game in, game out (ok, other than the PP).

No. It makes less than no sense. This Boyle sucks meme is ridiculous, since now people somehow forget how good he is on the PK for us. The fact of the matter is he is better than all of our 4th liners and arguably more effective than a number of our 3rd liners.

Is that a good thing? Not at all. But it's the sad state of the team right now.

I really don't know what it says about this team, or the personnel choices that Zucc is one of the two or three best players on the ice for us tonight. I'm not even sure he really belongs in the NHL and yet I really feel our best chance to score in this game is when he's on the ice. This is absolutely ridiculous

I know you're just making fun of the guys being hyperbolic about it... but it certainly hasn't helped. He helped the PK a lot. It is no coincidence that since he's left the PK has looked like crap. He was great on draws and very solid on the PK. Gave us two solid PK centers who had a good chance at winning draws. I don't think him being here means we win even half the games we've lost, but it sure doesn't hurt.

Zuccarello-Richards-Gaborik have been the only 3 players that have looked decent.

They have been the best line but we need more from everyone.

If he pinches and it turns into something Montreal his coach will ream his ass. Why try be creative when if it goes awry you get *****ed at? Only time guys get complimented it seems is when they block a shot or grind their nuts off.

The Montreal fans start to get excited as the Habs cross their own blue line with the puck, because they sense that by the time they cross the Rangers blue line, a scoring chance will have developed... it's incredible.

Also, our chances when we're "outplaying" them are all from the outside. Their chances are all square and centered on Biron.

Halpern was replaced by Powe. There was no reason to keep him.
