I wonder how bad things have to get, this year, to get Torts fired. I had previously thought it was impossible, but now I'm not so sure. Both he and Sather both share in the culpability, here.

We are F'd.

Actually, we've lost quite differently recently. This game, we are outplaying the opposition and losing. We've had games where we have been handedly outplayed and lost. Games where the play is even and lost. We aren't getting consistently outplayed or outplaying teams consistently. So, essentially, it's the exact opposite of what you're saying.

True

There is the back up goaltender loss
The guy hasn't scores since the stone age loss
There is the puck goes off someone's chin loss

and so on and on

This game is different but losing in different ways because of how we're not about to perform and access our strength is systematic enough to me.

Subban has made real progress since the days when he was fighting his teammates in practice and flapping his gums too often.

love how eminger decides not to pinch. were down by 3 u dumb ****

Also, our chances when we're "outplaying" them are all from the outside. Their chances are all square and centered on Biron.

But that's not really true since we have lost games where we have performed and accessed our strength. This team is losing in strange ways and has not been consistently bad in any one area in those losses.

I blame most of it on hockey sense and a lack of guts, but there's a reason this team has been so frustrating and it's because there is not one consistently bad thing game in, game out (ok, other than the PP).
