Is it really? Holden, Kampfer, Staal on defense. Forward group is not great, especially without a healthy Kreider.

This is what every game has looked like lately, only difference is usually Hank bails then out and stops all of those goals. So we’re tied or winning and AV thinks everything is great.

It’s okay, AV is a genius it’s not his fault. It’s not the coach’s job to set up the system and tell his players how to play and get them ready to go so they don’t come up flat, choose line combos and matchups and player deployment, why would anyone expect the coach to do those things?

People will be more upset about this because of the score and the opponent, but literally the only difference between this game and every game since like Thanksgiving, save for a couple of outliers, is the goaltending was bad today instead of other-worldly good.

This is the Rangers.

Bang the f*** on. This has been the Rangers. For how long? Yes. We obviously had a couple stronger years where things fell right and Hank had some help. But how much of us selling off assets and going for it and making it deep has been the result of artificial inflation due to having one of the GOATs in net all this time?

Not really. Girardi ins't any better than Kampfer.

What I will say about Girardi is that he wasn't the cancer. The cancer is behind the bench.

But he's still horrible.

Are they world beaters? No. But the offense could be managed better than giving DD top 6 minutes and not giving Hayes any PP time.
