I’m not so sure about that. AV isn’t good, but the talent level is just as bad.
Please look like shit and lose games until the deadline. Anything to get the house cleaning to get going please. I don't wanna hear how everyone is beatable except maybe Tampa.

For my small part in the conversation, I don’t care where he plays in the lineup right now. The team is horrible and the defensive scheme will limit them all. He looked good with McD before and him playing beside him is fine with me. When I say he isn’t a top pairing player I’m only talking about his individual qualify. I certainly don’t think any of those guys deserves minutes over him. I just think we’re crowded with mediocre players. We’re a team of second/third liners and second/third pair players. No top end talent.
And yes, I think that is A problem, but we still have some quality on our roster and some depth. Would I like to sell on our expiring contracts? Yes. Do I think one or two significant roster changes could be beneficial? Probably. But I would 100% like to see the coach fired and a different system and some zone D brought in first. I’d still sell the UFAs. This team just ain’t going deep whether they get in or not. Get some assets back. But as far as other significant changes? Let’s get a system that resembles hockey in place first.
Blame the coach too but how aren't the players accountable for playing such a soft game against a rival...especially at home. Zero fire zero passion.

He’s completely part of the problem, but the blind criticism from some of you in regards to him is disgusting. I don’t see many people on here dissecting Mac although he has been muchhhhh worse then shattenkirk

This is the most convinced I've been that we might have a chance at Dahlin. Kreider is out long term and no one on this team has the type of cojones to conjure up some fight. No elite talent that can kick start a team. No team chemistry that can drag us through this. No line chemistry that can get us over the line. No competent coaches that can formulate a plot before we end up in last or bopped.
We can compete with anyone in the Dahlin race. Arizona outplayed us, we lost to an expansion team however good they may be, and get whacked by a struggling borderline playoff team.

Today's game shouldn't worry anyone at all with the off days and effort. The rangers have had this effort for the first period or many times like 30 plus games already this season. There is a clear issue there.

I believe all stats are corrected for 60 minutes of game time. Goals divided by minutes or something like that
1- Fire AV
2- Get rid off Staal and Kampfer, bench Shattenkirk and Skjei in games like this
3-Put some decent lines together, our 4th line can't be our best line every game like it has been for a month
4-Fire AV
Bonus- Barzal would be in the AHL with AV coaching the Islanders.

The Rangers can play a lot better than this. Really it would be hard not to. It's just that they have a lot of lows now, and some of the lows are the lowest of the low. Once again, they will have no answer for their play. Shoulders will be shrugged, sports cliches will be uttered.
It will be rough tomorrow no doubts about that in that back to back game after this disappointed performance.
